How to earn on Nata in 3 steps
- Copy your code. In the Nata app, open More > Refer & Earn. Your referral code is a short number; tap to copy it.
- Share it. Send it by WhatsApp, SMS or social media. Your friend enters it in the referral code field when creating their Nata account.
- Get paid. Once your friend's completed purchases total ₦10,000, ₦300 lands in your wallet as a "Referral Bonus" transaction and you get an email.
What counts towards the ₦10,000
Completed purchases of things Nata sells: data, airtime, electricity tokens, TV subscriptions, exam PINs, eSIMs and similar. The following do not count: funding the wallet, funding a betting wallet, sending money to another Nata user, and referral bonuses themselves. Pending or failed purchases are not counted until they complete.
When and how the bonus is paid
Nata checks every referred account once a night. The night your friend's qualifying total reaches ₦10,000, ₦300 is added to your main wallet balance. It appears in your transactions as Referral Bonus and you receive an email with the friend's name and the amount. Each friend pays out once; after that, their spending does not earn you more, but every new friend starts the count afresh.
Why it is structured this way
Paying on sign-up alone attracts empty accounts. Paying once a friend has actually spent ₦10,000 means the reward goes to people who bring real users, and it keeps the programme open-ended: there is no monthly cap and no expiry on your code.
Rules
- The code must be entered at sign-up. It cannot be attached to an existing account later.
- The referred friend's account must be verified and active; deleted accounts are skipped.
- Referring yourself with a second account is not allowed and does not pay.
- The bonus is wallet balance: spend it on anything on Nata or send it to another user.
Tips that work
Share the code with the thing people search for, such as our 1GB prices or Offline Data, rather than the code alone. Friends who join because Nata saves them money on data cross ₦10,000 within weeks; a family of four buying monthly data gets there in a single month.
